Animal Kingdom

As a teacher, we are trained to make the best use of the sources we have. Ranked as the number one zoo in the United States by USA Travel Guide, the Columbus Zoo is definitely a resource to take advantage of. It is a non profit organization that is dedicated to educating people of all ages about animals of a wide variety. They teach about habitat, animals threatened by extinction,  and the beauty of nature. The Columbus Zoo also has programs that meet the Ohio Academic Content Standards. There are a variety of learning experience options provided by this wonderful establishment including live webcam close ups of some of the zoo's most-loved animals, the opportunity to bring the zoo to you for up to 250 students at a time, or schedule a trip for your class online by clicking here and filling out the simple form. Whether your students are learning about habitat, fish, extinction, or animals from a particular region, the Columbus Zoo is the place to go!
